Valérie Jooste is a research fellow at the Digestive Cancer Registry of Burgundy, attached to the Dijon University Hospital, the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM, UMR 1231) and the University of Burgundy. Area of expertise: Biostatistics in population based epidemiology, especially net survival estimation. Current research projet: To help improve access to credit and insurance for cancer survivors through Time-to-cure and Crude probabilities of death among prevalent cases, in association with the French Network of Cancer Registries (FRANCIM). Statistical cure is defined as the absence of mortality related to cancer. Our projects aim at improving the estimation of time to statistical cure and providing dynamics of crude probabilities of death according to prevalence duration.
