Nadine BOSSARD

I graduated in Medicine in 1990 and obtained a PhD in Biostatistics in 2004 (University of Lyon, France). I worked in various areas related to clinical trials and health promotion up to the late nineties before becoming fully involved in  the field of biostatistics applied to epidemiology and clinical research. I am, since 1998, a senior researcher at the Department of Biostatistics (Hospices Civils de Lyon, France). The Department being in charge of issuing the French   cancer epidemiological statistics, my main responsibility is to coordinate a research program dedicated to the development and implementation of statistical methods for estimating cancer epidemiological indicators (incidence,  mortality, survival, and net survival). I was lately involved in SUDCAN, a study on net survival from 15 cancers in six Latin European Countries. Number of publications: 89.
