SESSTIM, UMR 1252, ISSPAM, Inserm/IRD/Aix-Marseille Université, France

I completed a Master’s degree in statistics (with a focus on biostatistics methods) and a PhD in clinical research and public heath, both at Aix Marseille University, France. I currently work as a Research Engineer in the SESSTIM (Sciences économiques et sociales de la santé & traitement de l’information médicale). My expertise lies in biostatistics applied to population‑based epidemiology, with a particular interest in methodological developments in the context of relative survival (e.g., log-rank type test, assessing the impact of inappropriate life tables in excess mortality models) as well as causal inference methods. I have also expanded my research focus to the analysis of large French administrative databases, such as the RNC (National Cancer Registry) database from INCa, particularly through a project examining inequalities in access to breast reconstruction following total mastectomy for breast cancer.
