Caroline DANIELI

I studied in Applied Mathematics and Modeling and completed a MSc in Biostatistics in 2010, both from the University of Lyon 1 (France). I completed my PhD in 2014 in clinical biostatistics. My PhD research involved comparison of alternative net survival estimators and development of new tests to check the assumptions underlying parametric excess hazard models. I joined McGill University in Montréal (Canada) in 2015 as a postdoctoral fellow. My research focuses on the development of new flexible methods for the evaluation of time-varying covariates, in survival analysis, and on their applications in cancer epidemiology and in the assessment of safety and effectiveness of drugs and treatments.
