Analysis of a cancer prevention mediation intervention toward populations far removed from the healthcare system and development of through a participatory approach.
This study aims to improve knowledge regarding health mediation practices. It focuses on access to the prevention of colorectal, breast and cervical cancers in socio-economically vulnerable populations with a low participation rate in national organized screening campaigns and vaccination.
The specific objectives of the study are:
1) Describe, compare and analyze the two interventions making up the “13 in health” project: SEPT and COREHSAN.
2) Describe, compare and analyze the perception that stakeholders have of the difficulties encountered by their populations in accessing screening and care, as well as their own needs and difficulties in mediation work.
3) Describe the perception that populations have of their access to screening and care, of health mediation and of the messages developed by the current intervention.

How are the specificities of territories taken into account in different mediation systems?
For this it is:
- Describe and compare the specificities of the two interventions in terms of organization, representation of professionals in their territories and
target populations; -
Analyze the way in which these specificities influence the challenges, objectives and mediation practices aimed at improving access to screening and care.
- Inductive and deductive approach: circularity between data collection, literature analysis, theory production.
- Data collection methods: Ethnographic observation; interviews; focus group.
- Analysis methods: NVivo thematic coding.
