After completing a PhD in medical statistics and an MD degree in Public Health in Lyon (Université Claude Bernard Lyon I), I worked as an epidemiologist at the National Cancer Center (NCC) in Tokyo from 2012 to 2017. I then joined the Cancer Surveillance Section at the International Agency for Research on Cancer in Lyon, where I worked as a statistician, providing methological expertise in several projects. Back at the NCC since the end of 2020, I currently work in the Division of International Health Policy Research. My main research interest is in the development and use of statistical models for the analysis of cancer outcomes, and in computational methods for mixed effect models estimation.
